It started as a typical COVID-19 drive to clean out my closet. In a matter of weeks, I turned my spur-of-the-moment depop account into a mini business with a white sheet, an iPhone X, and a personal collection of vintage purses that was starting to overtake my bedroom.

By putting my free time into sourcing clothes, reworking some pieces, and truly learning on the job, I realized how I could optimize my inventory and sales, drive customer engagement, build a brand, and predict vintage trends before they blew up.

Below are a few snapshots of my store, as well as some BTS of my process. check me out on depop and IG @perennialhabits, and let me know what you think!

i love all things beauty, skincare, and fashion, and am especially interested in how social media is totally changing the way we shop and otherwise engage with brands. one of these ways is via UGC (user-generated content); check out a few product shots from an instagram story i created for follain!
