We can and should use design tools in any problem-solving setting, and that this will yield better, bolder solutions with the power to connect people, liberate communities, and make people truly care about the work with which they’re engaging.

Design thinking has fundamentally changed how I approach my life and my work - check out some of my favorite projects below!

goodnight kitchen // design thinking @ williams

my DFA (design for america) co-founder and I led two teams of ~8 students each in a semester-long project in collaboration with a local pop-up bakery. the project culminated in a two-day design sprint and a series of recommendations to the bakery founder for how she might best meet the unique needs of the williamstown community and create delightful, tasty culinary experiences

uqnatu // small-biz consulting rebranding

as a team leader at rem & company, a non-profit, student-run small-biz consulting group founded in April 2020 to assist businesses hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic, I led our team through the design thinking process. working closely with the founder of uqnatu, a female-founded, sustainable, luxury fashion company, we presented recommendations on how to purposefully market sustainability messaging, drive engagement across social media platforms, and stick to a strict brand-guide for visual coherence

kid’s vintage clothing // small-biz consulting rebranding

on my next team at rem & company, we worked with another incredible female-founder on ways to digitize the experience of shopping at her small, children’s vintage clothing store, as well as keep track of inventory and create a stronger visual brand.
